Seamless migration from a legacy ERP to a powerful modern system

To uphold their mission of providing exceptional stewardship of public funds, the County Tax Collector decided to migrate their highly customized Microsoft Dynamics GP system to the cloud-based, modern Dynamics 365. OnActuate implemented Dynamics 365 with a focus on the out-of-the-box functionalities that met the tax collector’s needs for optimizing financial management.

Maximizing efficiency with out-of-the-box features

The OnActuate Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Accelerator is a canned set of processes implemented in Dynamics 365 Finance that are tailored for public sector organizations. This package provides rapid deployment through a sped-up analysis phase and templatized approach to solution delivery, which reduces risks and delays for a timely implementation.

The County Tax Collector is currently running four finance modules in Dynamics 365:

  • General Ledger
  • Cash & Bank Management
  • Accounts Payable
  • Procurement and Sourcing

Additionally, Dynamics 365 facilitates tracking and resolves any system ambiguities, leading to enhanced customer service.

“Having been involved in multiple implementations throughout my career I must say that OnActuate exceeded my expectations,” said Williams-Tomlin. “They will stand and deliver on what they promise and their attention to detail when understanding the needs of you as a customer far exceeds what I have experienced in other vendors.”
